멀티플렉스 영화관, 예술영화관, 영상자료원, 실버영화관 등 다양한 영화관에서 만나는 사람들의 이야기.
“당신의 삶도 영화같나요?”
그리고 인물들이 카메라 앞에 서서 자신의 이야기를 털어 놓는다.
기획의도
“인간의 본질은 질문의 형태를 취하기 때문에
질문 그 자체가 이미 하나의 해답이다.”
“세상에는 수많은 사람들이 있어요.
그리고 그 사람들은 모두 엑스트라가 아니에요.
그들 모두 각자의 이야기 속에서 살아요.”
영화관으로 영화를 보러오는 사람들은 어떤 생각과 마음을 가지고 모여드는 것일까? 우리는 왜 영화를 볼까? 유희?여가?도피? 그들이 선택한 영화들에서 삶의 결을 찾을 수 있을지도 모른다. 그들, 각자는 어떤 삶을 살고, 어떤 고민을 가지고 살아가는지 우리는 궁금해졌다. 영화관을 찾아오는 이들에게 묻는다. “왜 영화를 봅니까?” “당신이 좋아하는 영화나 등장인물은 무엇입니까?” “왜 그 영화를 좋아합니까?” “당신의 삶에서 영화는 어떤 의미입니까?” “당신의 삶도 영화같나요?” 엑스트라가 아닌 그들이 주인공인 삶에서 사는 그들은 어떤 삶을 연출하고 있는지 들여다보고자 한다.
Synopsis
The story of people who meet at various movie theaters, including multiplex theaters, art theaters, Korea Film Archive, and silver movie theaters.

And people in front of a camera tell their stories.

"The essence of man is to take the form of a question,
The question itself is already one answer."
“There are lots of people in the world
And none of those people is an extra.
They’re all leads in their own stories.”
What makes people come to see a movie at a movie theater? Why do we watch movies? For amusement? Leisure? or Escape?
They may find their lives in the films of their choice. We were curious about the stories they got, and the worries they had. We ask those who come to the theater.
"Why do you watch movies?"
"What is your favorite movie or character?"
"Why do you like the movie?"
"What does movie mean in your life?"
"Is your life like a movie?"
We want to take a look at what life they are directing in their lives, not in extras.
